Company to focus on ability to provide creative custom solutions amidst evolving healthcare equipment delivery model, COVID and resulting supply chain challenges

Alpha Source Group (ASG), a comprehensive next-generation healthcare services partner that delivers service and solutions for biomedical, surgical and diagnostic imaging (DI) under three brands — Alpha Source, Medical Optics and BC Technical — will showcase its comprehensive set of capabilities during the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) technical exhibit in Chicago, Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, 2021

November 10, 2021 — Alpha Source Group (ASG), a comprehensive next-generation healthcare services partner that delivers service and solutions for biomedical, surgical and diagnostic imaging (DI) under three brands — Alpha Source, Medical Optics and BC Technical — will showcase its comprehensive set of capabilities during the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) technical exhibit in Chicago, Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, 2021.

RSNA attendees looking to persevere amidst a rapidly changing healthcare landscape further impacted by COVID ramifications, including supply chain disruptions, are encouraged to stop by booth #7937 to gain insights into flexible and fast delivery of medical device service and parts from ASG’s industry experts.

During the last year, ASG has experienced tremendous growth through expanded service contracts with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of DI equipment as well as OEMs of other medical devices including plasma extractors, infusion pumps and ventilators; and recently secured a major new partnership agreement with a global diagnostic imaging OEM to act as their exclusive distributor of imaging, life care solutions and ultrasound products to one of the largest private healthcare systems in the U.S.

After more than doubling its top line growth in 2021, ASG has also significantly expanded its pool of imaging field service engineers and field technical engineers and plans to continue hiring talent for those roles through spring 2022.

Alpha Source Group’s CEO, Allan Klotsche, says he’s happy to see customers across all segments embracing ASG’s strategy and attributes the company’s expansion to both its flexibility and its expertise in designing custom solutions.

“COVID has presented an entirely new set of challenges for our customers. Over the last year, one of our leading OEM customers was so pleased with the array of creative service solutions we provided, that they asked us to take on additional service and PM duties for another one of their product lines.  Our team has done a really nice job of listening to the challenges our customers are facing and quickly and creatively developing solutions,” Klotsche said.

Klotsche also cited other substantial strategic agreements that ASG continues to forge between OEMs and healthcare facilities that not only elevate the company as a world-class supply chain partner for major manufacturers, but more importantly, enable it to bring greater value in the long term to all healthcare facilities ASG serves.

“We continue to expand because when customers get to know us, frankly, they like doing business with us,” added Rich Springer, president of Alpha Source Group. “With over 35 years in the industry, Alpha Source Group has the experience that customers appreciate in a partner and distributor. From RSNA 2020 until now, we’ve onboarded several new healthcare facilities and one significant national healthcare organization primarily because we can quickly deliver the service, parts and products that they need.”

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, ASG and its affiliate companies – Alpha Source, BC Technical and Medical Optics – have continuously taken preemptive measures to minimize the impact of the coronavirus on customers, patients, caregivers, facilities and employees as the situation has evolved. Today, ASG’s field personnel – engineers and service technicians – comply with all onsite healthcare facility protocols and respond to service requests as quickly as possible while also complying with facility access and PPE requirements at service appointments. The company continues to monitor actions and communications at a local, national and global level.

Radiology professionals, other healthcare industry personnel and editors who are interested in learning more about ASG and their service offerings and custom solutions to extend the life of medical equipment can schedule an appointment at RSNA 2021 by clicking the following link: https://alphasourcegroup.com/rsna21/.
