Richardson Electronics Healthcare will display its Image Systems FP4200MED, reportedly the largest medically certified LCD available on the market with a 42-inch screen LCD, designed specifically for use in surgical suites, operating rooms, endoscopy suites, cath labs, emergency rooms and other specialty areas.

The FP4200MED is medical-grade display certified to EN/UL 60601 safety requirements for patient vicinity use. The system features a unique, IPX1-rated, acrylic protective panel integrated and sealed into the bezel, enabling proper wipe-down and cleaning protocol. The integrated protective panel also guards against unintentional physical contact, maximizing each display’s long-term performance. The protective panel’s anti-reflection surface also limits the glare of bright operating room lights.

System hardware contains a full 1920-by-1080 HD resolution (2 mega-pixels), 500 nit (cd/m2) brightness and 1000: 1 contrast ratio. It can be calibrated to the DICOM 3.14 standard for proper presentation of medical images and is compatible with the Image.
