RedRick Builds 'Comfortable' PACS Workstation

June 21, 2007 - RedRick recently introduced the new ComfortView Workstation series built to accommodate very heavy weight requirements of up to 500 lbs for ergonomic PACS workstations.
Programmable adjustment and automatic re-positioning lets the workstation remind you that its time to change your position for maximum ergonomic benefit. In addition to RedRick’s existing line of laminate worksurfaces, it has added a new worksurfaces line that is constructed using formaldehyde-free core material and are finished with an anti-microbial, monolithic coating.
RedRick has also unveiled the new CVM Motorized Monitor Mounting Solution. The CVM accommodates up to 4 diagnostic monitors. The electric height adjustment range is 16 inches and the manual focal adjustment range is 14 inches. This system allows you to move your monitors simultaneously, with no vertical drift. The tilt feature allows the monitors to be tilted independently – 15 degrees through 15 degrees. This solution also rotates 45 degrees left or right, to aid in physician collaboration. These features are designed to enable multiple images to be view simultaneously from comfortable standing or seated positions.
