RamSoft PowerServer 6.0 PACS RSNA 2013

January 20, 2014 — RamSoft’s PowerServer 6.0 features updated aesthetics to aid usability. RamSoft Console is built to be as familiar to end users as launching a smartphone application.

PowerServer 6.0 will comply with Stage 2 Meaningful Use regulations by accepting all orders and clinical information electronically while eliminating the need for many HL7 interfaces and manual processes necessary to capture required patient data. It will also send reports and image links directly to referring physician EHRs, allowing access to timely patient information.

RapidResults, RamSoft’s physician portal, automatically delivers diagnostic reports and study images to referring physicians. New functions include window/level and ability to view more than one image at a time.

Database optimizations have focused on quick data transfer and image compression/decompression without sacrificing quality, especially for large images such as mammography and tomosynthesis studies. PowerServer 6.0 also supports localization for international markets. It supports multiple languages as well as customization to local healthcare requirements.

RamSoft’s PowerServer is web-based Radiology IT and is built on a single database platform with automated processes that eliminate steps and may help reduce errors.
