software radiology workflow rsna 2013 ris pacs integrated ramsoft powerserver

November 25, 2013 — RamSoft announced the launch of PowerServer RIS/PACS/PM, a workflow application for imaging centers in the United States requiring an all-in-one, web-based imaging workflow and practice management/billing solution that is also ICD-10 compliant. With the government mandate to switch to ICD-10 Oct. 1, 2014, PowerServer RIS/PACS/PM includes dual-mode billing so billing staff can still bill on ICD-9 while learning ICD-10. The practice management suite is fully integrated into PowerServer RIS/PACS and accessible from a single sign-on.

According to Marilyn Solano, director of sales and marketing, RamSoft, PowerServer RIS/PACS/PM helps radiology groups reduce accounts receivable (A/R) turnaround time while minimizing and managing rejections and denials effectively. It will also improve claim payments in first pass, manage patient statements, manage contracts and fee schedules and manage auto posting and write off effectively. The embedded financial reporting and dashboard tools quickly and easily generate standardized reports and allow users to create custom reports to pinpoint any specific issues with a simple search query.

“Our vision was to form an alliance with a billing system vendor that understands our industry so our customers and prospects will not have to scramble to replace obsolete billing systems before the mandatory transition to ICD-10 next year,” said Solano.

RIS/PACS/PM will be on display at booth 6513 at the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting (RSNA 2013) in Chicago.
