Integrated solution with Koios Software helps clinicians improve detection while enhancing workflow efficiencies.

RamSoft, Koios Medical Team Up to Provide Integrated AI-Powered Software for Breast and Thyroid Cancer Diagnosis

Sept. 25, 2025 — RamSoft Inc., a provider of cloud-based RIS/PACS radiology solutions, has announced a new distributorship agreement with Koios Medical, developer of Smart Ultrasound, an AI-powered clinical decision support solution for breast and thyroid cancer detection and diagnosis.

Through this partnership, Koios AI software will be fully integrated into RamSoft's cloud-native RIS/PACS platforms, giving RamSoft customers access to a powerful new toolkit to strengthen their imaging programs.

Koios Smart Ultrasound is built on ensembles of algorithms trained with a proprietary diverse dataset of more than 2 million ultrasound images. By analyzing 17,900 features per image, the AI provides an accurate and reimbursement eligible cancer risk assessment that helps physicians and technologists classify lesions with greater precision. Clinical and operational results show that Koios DS enables clinics to see an average of up to 30% more patients per day, achieve 49% less interpretation time, and deliver a 100-400% return on investment to customers —all while supporting earlier disease detection, avoidance of costly downstream procedures and treatments and improved patient outcomes.

With Koios now available directly through RamSoft, customers gain the ability to expand their Women's Health offerings with seamless AI integration—without added technical complexity or integration costs. This collaboration marks a key addition to RamSoft's growing portfolio of 15+ integrated AI applications.

"We are excited that, now as an integrated partner, our Koios solution will be easily accessible to RamSoft's large and growing user base of radiologists and imaging practices," said Chad McClennan, President & CEO of Koios Medical. "Our collaboration means that RamSoft customers can quickly access and benefit from increased detection accuracy and automated ultrasound reporting enabled by Koios for breast and thyroid imaging procedures today, and more in the future —without added complexity or integration costs. In the U.S., practices can immediately benefit from the reimbursement pathway available to them for Koios procedures."

"Koios adds significant value to RamSoft's comprehensive Women's Health portfolio, which offers a wide suite of AI and reporting tools integrated into our cloud-based RIS/PACS platforms," said Vijay Ramanathan, Co-Founder & CEO of RamSoft. "Koios provides our customers a powerful AI platform that complements breast and thyroid ultrasound procedures, which are so critical in the assessment of cancer."
