December 4, 2007 - RamSoft will release version 4.5 of the new PowerServer RIS/PACS at the end of the first quarter of 2008, providing facilities with a comprehensive “all-in-one” RIS/PACS solution running on a single server and database.
The new PowerServer RIS/PACS will include a single Web application, a single database and demands no integration of different RIS, PACS and reporting packages into radiology workflow. The PowerServer’s unified resource and access management allows administrators to stay on top of things from one simple screen, while the Referring Physician Portal allows order placement and report viewing.
For registration, all demographic information is displayed on a single screen for quick verification, and insurance cards, prescriptions and other documents may be scanned right into the study.
Other features include a DICOM modality worklist, electronic form technology and export billing.
