August 21, 2015 — Medical equipment manufacturer Quantum Medical Imaging has completed installation of a Quantum Q-Rad-Digital Radiographic System at Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The sale and installation was facilitated by Medical Imaging Technologies, a certified Quantum/Carestream dealer.

Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group is the largest orthopedic practice in Southern Colorado and has been providing care to the Colorado Springs community and Pikes Peak region for more than 50 years. Members are team physicians for the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and provide care for athletes involved in a variety of sports. Additionally, many of their doctors are active with the USA Olympic Committee as well as helping military personnel and their families re-acclimate after returning home with a debilitating injury.

The Q-Rad-Digital Radiographic System installed at Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group features a fully integrated X-ray room that consists of a Quantum 50kW generator with a high speed starter, integrated dose area product (DAP) monitoring, a deluxe floor-mounted tube stand with TechVision, an elevating/float-top radiographic table and a digital wall stand, along with a wireless DRX-1C Cesium detector providing lower dose imaging for improved patient care.  This particular install raises the total to seven Q-Rad-Digital Radiographic Systems installed at the Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group.
