Provox Technologies Corp. has announced the availability of VoxComparison, a new tool added to the VoxReports solution that allows radiologists to search for comparative studies at the point of dictating a study. In partnership with Vivalog, Provox reportedly enables radiologists to improve diagnoses and reduce errors during the report creation process by providing a seamless way to query the Vivalog MyPACS knowledgebase.
With a speech command or press of a button, a query of the MyPACS.net site or MyPACS Enterprise knowledge base is performed. A variety of search criteria can be used to refine the search for cases that best match the current study. Once a comparative study is located, the radiologist can use VoxReports to conduct the read and produce the report. This study can then be tagged and stored in the teach file system for future comparative analysis or collaboration.
