August 25, 2010 - A new portable digital radiography system was recently launched.

The CMDR-2S is MinXray’s latest introduction to the digital imaging market. The CMDR-2S is composed of MinXray’s HF120/60HPPWV PowerPlus portable X-ray unit paired with a Varian PaxScan 4336R imaging panel and the latest Dell Latitude laptop computer to provide the user with a complete, physically integrated, portable DR system.

The system is composed of rugged, independent and replaceable components each selected for its functionality, durability and performance. Designed specifically for the mobile imaging market, the CMDR-2S is easily transported to field locations and is ready for imaging within minutes.

Wireless transmission of acquired images to a separate review station or picture archiving communication system (PACS) further enhances the suitability of the system for onsite imaging at nursing homes, athletic events, military installations, disaster response or anytime it is difficult to bring a patient to an imaging facility.
