Partnership Provides Advanced Visualization to Healthcare Providers

November 12, 2010 — A new partnership has been formed to bring care providers advanced visualization across the new healthcare continuum.

Cerner has partnered with Vital Images, with workflow-driven multimodality 2-D, 3-D and 4-D viewing tools to enhance decision support in context with patient information via the electronic health record (EHR) for real-time analysis and decision support.
Vitrea Core is a scalable, web-based imaging solution that offers anywhere access to radiology images from the Cerner EHR. By coupling the basic 2-D imaging tools with easy access to frequently used 3-D advanced visualization tools, clinicians are able to access capabilities formerly only available on specialized radiology workstations directly from the Cerner EHR.
