October 6, 2009 - ONRAD Inc. has signed an agreement with La Maestra Community Health Centers of San Diego, Calif., to provide teleradiology services for diagnostic ultrasound interpretations as well as mammography screening reports for La Maestra and their patients.
ONRAD is a full-service radiology group offering remote preliminary and final interpretations of CT, NM, MRI, Ultrasound, nuclear medicine, diagnostic X-ray, telemammography, echo-cardiograms, onsite staffing with a specialization in Critical Access Facility coverage, PACS ASP.
Working with ONRAD will allow La Maestra to continue improving access to care for the diverse, underserved San Diego residents. La Maestra’s patients will be able to have ultrasounds performed and analyzed in the clinic, instead of traveling to the hospital or another doctor’s office, saving them time and money. They can receive the results of ultrasounds more quickly, allowing more timely treatment of any health problems and reducing patient wait times. This partnership will ensure that patients receive quality, culturally-competent care in their medical home and that they fully understand diagnoses and providers' instructions in their native language.
ONRAD is JCAHO accredited and offers services throughout the U.S., 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
