New Teleradiology System Improves Monitoring Capabilities and Enhances Productivity

January 11, 2011 – A new teleradiology tracking and management application that enhances visibility in the exam process and improves productivity has been launched. NightWatch, from NightShift Radiology, is a Web-based technology that enables authorized users to efficiently monitor real-time status of exams through final report delivery.

Clients can also share interpretive data, as well as print radiology and administrative reports on-demand.

“The ability to analyze the progression of exams in real-time complements our clients’ ability to improve patient care and workflow,” said Michael Myers, M.D., co-founder of NightShift.

NightWatch’s intuitive interface provides information, including:
• Patient identification
• Name of hospital/practice
• Date of exam
• Assigned radiologist
• Exam status

In addition to the company’s standard reporting practices, the user-friendly system provides instant access to reports for more control and greater flexibility. For ease of use, password-protected access can be granted to individual users or groups, so reports can be reviewed at any time.
