The WIDE P-Series of LCDs by Double Black Imaging consists of a 2MP monochrome and color, a 3MP monochrome and color and a 5MP monochrome LCD for mammography. This line will feature higher brightness levels on each LCD, digital uniformity control, 12-bit processing, a retractable front sensor for true DICOM calibration and backlight sensor for luminance control and bonded protective panels. DBI will be bundling these LCDs with a high-speed graphic controller (PCI-X or PCI-e) and X-CAL calibration software. These LCDs are compatible with MAC operating systems. DBI is including X-Cal Calibration software, their proprietary package for automatic DICOM calibration and display quality assurance, with all WIDE P-Series LCD systems, allowing for both complete QA of their LCDs and front DICOM calibration.
