medQ and HPS begin full RIS/PACS cloud based operations

Healthcare systems providers medQ, Inc. and Hosted PACS Solutions, have begun operations at Comprehensive Diagnostics Imaging, Inc., in Oklahoma City with their integrated and cloud base RIS/PACS solution.

Deployment of the integrated radiology management system and EHR provides CDI with a complete and very responsive imaging system to support their internal imaging center and teleradiology operations. This integrated, cloud based RIS/PACS approach will create a single workflow process resulting in improved operational and clinical productivity and a significantly improved report turnaround time.

"We are already seeing improvements in operational efficiency and significantly faster report turnaround" stated Dr. L. Jill Hast, CEO and chief radiologist for CDI.

medQ, Inc., headquartered in Plano, Texas, provides radiology information technology and service solutions that enable healthcare providers to deliver quality, cost effective patient care. medQ solutions provide an end to end, patient centric diagnostic imaging management process that result in greater operational efficiencies and improved patient outcomes with overall bottom line improvements.

Established in 2009, Hosted PACS Solutions is an Application Service Provider (ASP) of best in class digital radiology software. We host high end RIS and PACS software on our servers in a HIPAA compliant data center and make it available to medical practices on a fee-per-study basis. Our hosted solutions are attractive to facilities that cannot justify the high cost and complexity of an onsite RIS/PACS system, but desire the same quality solutions used by hospitals and large facilities. For many practices, our solution makes the transition from film to digital imaging a viable option.   For more information: www.medq.com, www.hostedpacs.com.
