Mediware Information Systems Launches SpectraSoft Radiology Scheduling Software

Phase scheduling allows tracking of patient status in real-time

March 31, 2015 — Mediware Information Systems Inc., announced the launch of its SpectraSoft Radiology Scheduling software. The Web-based system offers specific features that helps its users enhance staff efficiency, reduce patient no-shows and increase their return on investment for equipment.

A key feature of the system is phase scheduling, which allows all staff to see the status of any patient in real-time. This speeds handoffs and reduces equipment turnaround time. Complex procedures involving multiple steps can be predefined and scheduled in one command to simplify scheduling and minimize human error.

Scheduling features allow clerical staff to drag-and-drop or cut-and-paste appointments on-the-fly, adapting to urgent requests from the emergency room (ER) or unexpected events. Appointment reminders via text, phone and email help to reduce outpatient no-shows. These reminders are completely automated and require no staff attention.

SpectraSoft Radiology Scheduling easily integrates with popular hospital information systems.
