March 17, 2008 - Electronic health record (EHR) systems maker MediNotes Corp. said today it completed its acquisition of Bond Technologies, a manufacturer of Web-based EHR and practice management (PM) solutions.

Medinotes announced Feb. 25 they signed a letter of intent for MediNotes to acquire Bond Technologies. Following the merger, MediNotes renamed Bond’s EHR and practice management system from Bond Clinician to MediNotes Clinician. It also created separate national sales forces to market MediNotes Clinician EHR/PM solution as well as MediNotes e, its interoperable EHR. MediNotes now offers the choice of either a stand-alone EHR or an integrated, single-vendor EHR/PM system.

In addition to investing in the further development of MediNotes Clinician, which includes e-prescribing, patient portals, patient kiosk and image management, MediNotes said it will continue to develop and support MediNotes e and its users.
