Medicalis Analytics Turns Clinical Data into Business Intelligence

November 18, 2008 - Medicalis Corp. said today that its Medicalis Analytics product has commercially released.

Medicalis Analytics reportedly makes clinical data for radiology available on demand. The intuitive interface allows for easy analysis of the outcomes and the effectiveness of imaging studies, according to the company.

“You can’t manage what you can't measure,” said Ron Kelly, president and CEO of Medicalis. “Medicalis Analytics allows you to capture, measure and manage how physicians are using diagnostic imaging as a resource and to drive the quality improvements needed in our industry.”

Medicalis Analytics is designed to transform data into intelligence by consolidating it into a powerful in-memory analysis tool that allows:

- On demand, personalized views of data;

- On-the-fly comparisons of different types of data against common dimensions;

- Application of Medicalis' evidence-based clinical content to assess ordering appropriateness; automated extraction and aggregation of key report outcomes in real time.
