March 5, 2008 - Eizo Nanao Corp. is now offering the Matrox MED5MP display controller board with its RadiForce GS520 5MP medical displays, and Matrox MED2MP, RAD and AuroraVX Series display controller boards with the recently released RadiForce RX211 2 MP medical displays.
The EIZO GS520 features a high resolution and high definition display designed for digital mammography, and coupled with the Matrox MED5mp 10-bit board, allows for 10-bit (1,024 tones) simultaneous display from a 13.7-bit look-up table (13,771 tones). The EIZO RadiForce RX211 2MP (1200-by-1600 native resolution) color LCD monitor is designed to meet the needs of hospitals for a grayscale- and color-capable display for diagnostic imaging and can be used to view images from a variety of modalities including CT, MRI and endoscopy, and features 750 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1100:1.
