February 7, 2011 – The latest version of an orthopaedic PACS and visualization table will be on display at the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) in San Diego, Calif. A new calibration unit for the hip, knee and shoulder has accurate templating of digital images can only be done on accurately calibrated images. The company has developed a calibration unit that can be used for all major joints.
The new Visualization Table features a multi-touch screen that enables multiple users to collaborate around the table and interact with the large-size 3-D images generated by MR and CT scanners. This solution for collaborative diagnostic work improves decision-making efficiency and allows physicians to set the care strategy in multi-trauma cases.
