Interactive Pen Displays Enhance Workflow in Diagnostics and Treatment

November 15, 2010 — An increasing number of healthcare facilities have begun to adopt electronic practices that help to improve access to images and information. The intuitive pen-on-screen workflow of interactive pen displays can help professionals create and interact with data more effectively, accurately and precisely.

Wacom’s line of interactive pen displays includes an HD display well suited for medical professionals, the DTU-2231. It allows radiologists and other medical professionals to draw directly on images, defining volumes, highlighting points of interest and making handwritten comments.

Wacom interactive pen displays seamlessly integrate with and enhance many of the features offered through industry software solutions, such as MedInformatix, Prowess, PACSGEAR and more. The complete line of pen displays includes compact and convenient 16- and 17-inch models, suitable for electronic medical recordkeeping.
