im3D will present at RSNA 2007 the DICOM visualizer, VISOR, that enhances the functionality of its diagnostic workstation by grouping and displaying any number of radiological exams for a single-source visualization, interfacing with its CAD-COLON diagnostic system, a commercially available interactive workstation with field-proven results, as well as with upstream PACS systems.

VISOR reportedly enables the radiologist to easily confront and compare exams, as well as relay exams to specialized CAD applications thereby optimizing the overall workflow. The DICOM visualizer represents an umbrella application, which will reportedly help the radiologist efficiently manage CT, MRI and other radiology exams for use with im3D’s CAD-based diagnostic tools.

VISOR is the first in a series of new solutions under development by im3D for breast, lung and other cancer pathologies. Like CAD-COLON, im3D’s new diagnostic solutions are based on the Company’s proprietary software and are the result of clinical, scientific and medical research.
