Hyland provides connected healthcare solutions to over half of the U.S. hospital market

November 16, 2022 — Hyland Healthcare, a global enterprise medical imaging and content services provider recently recognized as a Major Player in IDC’s European and US MarketScape for their Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA). Hyland Healthcare will highlight the company’s Intelligent Diagnostic Imaging Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Point of Care solutions, among other innovative technology, at this year’s Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) annual conference.

As healthcare organizations strive to combat increasingly relevant enterprise challenges, such as managing high volumes of unstructured data and increasing virtual collaboration with clinicians and patients, investments in imaging technologies are key to preparing for future growth. RSNA attendees will hear from Hyland Healthcare experts about the company’s robust medical imaging offerings that improve access to imaging content throughout their enterprise and lead to better, informed clinical decisions.

Solutions include Hyland Healthcare’s Intelligent Diagnostic Imaging solution, which supports radiology interpretation workflows as well as Hyland Healthcare’s Enterprise Point of Care Imaging. Hyland Healthcare will highlight its ability to meet complex framework and serve as medical imaging’s core foundational platform, all while lowering the total cost of ownership.

“We’re excited to share with attendees our extensive, scalable solutions and how we can arm diagnosticians and clinicians with tools that deliver unmatched consistency and efficiency across the digital ecosystem,” said Razvan Atanasiu, chief technology officer of Hyland Healthcare. “We’re one of the few vendors that bridge interoperability gaps between content services and imaging workflows, two of the largest areas in healthcare, outside of the electronic health record. And we continue to evolve our solutions, deepening our ability to bridge those gaps with important innovation like AI-enabled orchestration.”

Further demonstrating Hyland Healthcare’s commitment to healthcare information interoperability, the company was recently recognized as a top vendor at the 2022 IHE North American Connectathon, the healthcare industry’s largest, most rigorous interoperability testing event. Hyland Healthcare passed over 100 interoperability profiles at the event,  which brings together leaders to voluntarily participate and test software against world-class standards.

“At Hyland, we believe in a comprehensive imaging strategy to empower our healthcare customers,” said Lyle McMillin, senior manager, product management. “We believe our platforms break down imaging silos to drive transparency and patient loyalty better than anyone else in the market. Working in multiple systems to maintain imaging information and data can be costly, but we’ve already proven how effective having a complete view in one place is.”

In one specific example, a large nonprofit healthcare provider in the Rocky Mountain region received a net return on investment of over $9 million in a span of three years with major cost savings in Health Connect integration, support personnel, hardware and other areas.

At Hyland’s booth, visitors will experience how Hyland technology can provide better quality care, simplify business processes, enhance productivity and improve the patient experience. Additionally, they’ll be able to better understand the benefits of becoming a Hyland Healthcare customer.
