HIMSS 2007: Cerner Corp. to Display Client Testimonies

February 27, 2007 Cerner Corp. recently announced executives and clinicians from a variety of healthcare organizations will guide attendees through a specific patient condition demonstration, highlighting how Cerner Millennium, the companys unified software, adapts to the various clinician roles and venues, this week at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society conference (HIMSS) in New Orleans.

When you look at how information technology is used in healthcare organizations, it is not about gadgets and gizmos. It is about ensuring that the right knowledge at a healthcare organization is shared based on the condition of the patient, the role of the clinician and venue where the treatment is taking place, said Neal Patterson, Cerner chairman and CEO.

Three of the presenters include St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Tri-City Medical Center and University of New Mexico Hospital.
