HealthTronics Introduces TotalRad Radiation Therapy Solution

May 18, 2007 - HealthTronics, Inc., a provider of urology services and products, today introduced its newest growth initiative, TotalRad Radiation Therapy Solutions, which provides Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) technology within a turn-key exclusive partnership offering.

“In the past, Urologists have had several significant barriers to entry that limited their access to radiation therapy technology,” indicated Mark Koeniguer, vice president of Radiation Therapies, “including small practice sizes, patient throughput, large capital investments, and complex regulatory and construction issues.” TotalRad is designed to mitigate these concerns with a partnership solution that reportedly meets the needs of our Urology partners, while providing the best in class continuum of care for the patient.
