To achieve this goal, UHS, a a multi-facility healthcare delivery system, facilitate enterprise-wide workflows to more efficiently handle its unique clinical, financial, and administrative challenges. UHS decided to extend its long-time contract into a nine-year contract for a web-based healthcare information system (HIS). It will be integrated within the existing UHS health network to streamline its decentralized business office structure in order to help UHS realize operational efficiencies, cost savings, and care delivery improvements.

In the deal, Siemens Healthcare will implement Soarian Financials and Clinicals solutions, which it will remotely host from Siemens’ information systems center located in Malvern, Pa.
