June 30, 2008 - Marion General Hospital of Marion, OH, signed a seven-year agreement for remote hosting services for GE Healthcare’s Centricity Enterprise solution, providing Marion General with the advanced capabilities of Centricity Enterprise, aiming to improve and streamline patient care, increase collaboration between clinicians and align their organization for clinical transformation.
Under this remote hosting arrangement, Marion General Hospital will implement a comprehensive clinical information system while maintaining a flexible technology model with remote services. The agreement will also provide workflow solutions aimed for seamless access to health information, expedited clinical information and enhanced tools for clinical decision support. The facility will also install barcode medication administration, multidisciplinary documentation and pharmacy and orders capabilities.
The latest version of Centricity Enterprise will also provide Marion General with the latest nursing, including the Clinician Assessments and Noting and Clinician Homebase - providing a workflow centric approach to documenting a patient assessment with customizable indicators.
