FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA Inc. has announced the availability of Synapse version 3.2, its latest PACS software release.
With a number of enhancements to existing mammography capabilities, as well as improvements to FUJIFILM's patent-pending reading protocol technology, Synapse 3.2 is equipped to address the rapid adoption of digital mammography by providing advanced capabilities for the soft copy interpretation of mammography and other breast imaging studies.
With version 3.2, FUJIFILM has further optimized the presentation of images for diagnostic screening by enhancing the visualization and image processing tools. The Synapse reportedly goes beyond the display of mammography images by integrating CAD into both the technologist and radiologist workflow, enabling the display of CAD markers and providing support for MQSA compliant overlays.
