October 9, 2013 — Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. and AppDynamics Inc. announced a joint initiative to provide applications performance management solutions to hospital and outpatient imaging centers using Fujifilm workflow applications.
Because these applications power critical information — scheduling appointments, generating diagnostic results and providing access to results to physicians and patients — in a hospital or imaging center, it is critical the applications perform well under any circumstances.
Fujifilm is currently using AppDynamics in almost every stage of the application lifecycle. Developers and quality control engineers must ensure new codes meet performance thresholds in AppDynamics before it can be released to customers. Likewise, larger hospitals and imaging centers use AppDynamics around the clock in both test and production to ensure performance issues can be caught before they affect performance.
