FIMI Philips Bundles Matrox Boards with Grayscale Displays

February 18, 2009 - Matrox Graphics Inc., a manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions, has an agreement with FIMI Medical Display Solutions, a Royal Philips Electronics company, to ship Matrox Xenia Series display controller boards for use with the MML2032 and MML2152 grayscale medical LCD displays designed to meet PACS workstation user needs.

According to Matrox the board enables high-quality images, long life-cycles and advanced features and functions efficient workflow in PACS and mammography applications.

“As medical imaging workstation technology evolves, users demand a PCI Express board solution for PACS workstations,” said Carlo Martignoni, account manager medical displays, FIMI Philips.

Matrox Xenia is a native PCI Express single-slot board with all-digital, triple-monitor output and can drive many display configurations.
