March 19, 2014 — EOS imaging gained CE marking of its hipEOS, a 3-D hip arthroplasty planning software based on EOS biplanar 3-D imaging.
hipEOS is the first offering of a software portfolio to be associated with the EOS imaging system. It is based on EOS low dose 3-D images and technology from OneFit Medical, a company EOS imaging acquired in late 2013. It will initially be deployed as an online service to assist surgeons in hip prosthesis selection and placement simulation based on 3-D images generated by the EOS system.
