Carestream Features Imaging, Workflow Solutions at RSNA

Dual energy soft tissue from Carestream

Carestream’s Dual-Energy feature (Pending FDA 510(k) clearance) delivers excellent image quality and optimal dose efficiency for patients. Dual-energy automatically switches between high- and low-energy exposures producing two images: a soft-tissue only image and a bone-only image. Carestream’s Digital Tomosynthesis (DT) (Pending FDA 510(k) clearance) uses a single sweep of X-ray exposures — simplifying the operator’s workflow by separating the process of DT exposure acquisition from image volume formation. DT acquires individual projection images from a range of different angles that are analyzed to provide depth information. The resulting separation of overlying structures provides enhanced detection of subtle features that can be difficult to visualize.
