Canon Medical Systems Europe Completes Acquisition of DelftHold BV

DelftHold adds expertise in enterprise healthcare IT solutions, digital X-ray systems to Canon’s portfolio

January 22, 2018 — Canon Medical Systems Europe B.V. announced the change of ownership of DelftHold B.V. following its acquisition of the company by Canon Europa N.V. DelftHold BV specializes in enterprise healthcare information technology (IT) solutions, (manufacturing) digital X-ray systems, system integration and service for a varied portfolio of customized total solutions for radiology departments.

According to the two companies, they will be able to build on current strengths and pursue opportunities to expand product ranges, systems, technologies and services for the European market.

“With the establishment of the new Canon Medical Systems organization in Europe, there couldn’t be a more suitable time to combine the talents and resources of these two companies”, said Marcel Lantinga, managing director of DelftHold.
