Breast Imaging Diagnostic Workstation Compliments FFDM Offerings

Fujifilm will showcase a full line-up of breast imaging solutions highlighted by a new detector technology featuring Direct Optical Switching (DOS). Complimenting Fujifilm’s current digital mammography products it will be the first amorphous selenium detector with a 50 micron pixel size. Plans for commercialization will be announced.

Also highlighted will be the recently launched Breast Imaging Diagnostic Workstation which delivers Synapse PACS multimodality breast imaging functionality to complement Fujifilm’s FFDM offering; it can be installed as an image and information management solution or it can be a supplement to facilities’ existing PACS. Demonstrating high throughput and user convenience Fuji will again display a working model of a mammography suite, including the latest in CR-based FFDM technology.
