Biodex Offers 3-D Imaging C-Arm Tables

The 3-D Imaging C-Arm Table from Biodex Medical Systems is designed specifically for brachytherapy seed implantation procedures. The table features motorized actuation of height, X-Y, lateral roll and Trendelenberg motions of the tabletop.

New applications for this technology represent additional areas of growth such as obstetrics/gynecology, breast and prostate brachytherapy, cardiology and urology. The Biodex 3-D Imaging C-Arm table is designed to work with the new 3-D imaging C-arm fluorographic system. Prior to the introduction of this table, images remained 2-D.

The table’s role is a platform, but unlike other tables, this provides tilts and lateral rolls, as well as a unique cantilevered design that enables unrestricted C-arm movement to improve imagery.
