November 12, 2015 — Aycan will introduce an enterprise edition of aycan workstation, an advanced image-processing tool and DICOM PACS workstation for conventional, multi-slice and other image reading at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting. The meeting will take place Nov. 29-Dec. 4 in Chicago.

Designed to support large groups of users that read images at the same time, key productivity features of the new workstation include: centralized study worklist among multiple aycan workstations; customizable study-status values and filtering; automatic state updates when opening a study, launching reporting and finishing digital dictation; automatic export of final reports as DICOM PDFs; HL7 messaging for incoming orders and state events; and centralized preferences.

Clinical and workflow plug-ins are also available for aycan workstation and the Enterprise Edition which currently include: Advanced Hanging Protocol plug-in, optimized for mammography workflow; FusionSync, an advanced image registration plug-in; and Vessel Analysis plug-in for segmentation and calculation of center lines for vessel assessment.

aycan will also showcase aycan workflow, a fully integrated radiology information system/picture archiving and communication system (RIS/PACS) solution among their full line of vendor-neutral archiving, viewing, printing, and integration solutions and services.

aycan workstation Enterprise Edition and all aycan solutions are developed using a quality management system that follows ISO regulations, such as ISO 13485, which sets the highest safety standard for medical product development.
