Armstrong Medical will spotlight its Aluminum Auto-Locking Cart with Optional Proximity Reader at ASA 2007.
With this cart, individuals can reportedly wave a card in front of a reader to open and access its contents.
The cart can be locked by pressing the lock button or setting an auto-lock timer for any length of time from one to 998 minutes.
The proximity reader will read most low frequency HID prox cards (125 kHz) and features lightweight aluminum construction, aluminum mounting tracks, stabilizing frame, 5-inch swivel casters (two locking, one tracking), master code for all programming, access code for daily use, manual or automatic locking, manual key override for emergency access and low battery indicator light, according to the manufacturer.
