Ampronix Recognized for Innovation in Modalixx LCD Display

October 5, 2009 - Ampronix, Medical Imaging Technology, is recognized to receive a 2009 Innovations in Healthcare Award by the Adaptive Business Leaders Organization. The Modalixx LCD Display has earned Ampronix recognition in the category of an Innovative Approach to the Delivery of Healthcare. The Adaptive Business Leaders Organization will hold the 11th Annual Innovations in Healthcare Awards Event on October 28, 2009 at the Radisson Hotel in Newport Beach, CA.

Ampronix is nominated for the Modalixx LCD Display and the solution it provides to a current global dilemma in the medical imaging community. Due to the end in manufacturing of Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitors, the majority of CT and MRI machines with broken CRT displays are left inoperable. These machines each have their own specific output signal, so no ordinary display can be used. Medical institutions can now replace any old legacy display with the Modalixx LCD, increasing the life of a $2 million lab.

The Modalixx display provides versatility to meet the specific demands of any medical institution. It is the only multi-modality solution on the market that autosyncs to any legacy color or grayscale analog modality including Cath Lab, MRI, CT, R&F rooms, C-Arm, Endoscopy/ Surgical, Portable X-Ray, and Nuclear Medicine applications. The display works with a range of low line to high line video signals and will upgrade to 2 mega pixel resolution. The Modalixx LCD Display accepts any combination of BNC connections and is compatible with manufacturers such as GE, Siemens, Toshiba, Shimadzu, and Philips.
