July 19, 2007 - AMICAS Inc. announced that 14 new contracts were signed in the second quarter of 2007, comprising of a variety of hospitals, imaging centers, teleradiology businesses and radiology groups.
The new hospital contracts include 4 hospitals with a MEDITECH hospital information system and six of the new ambulatory contracts include multiple AMICAS product lines.
AMICAS’ latest innovations include Vision Series Financials, Vision Reach and Insight Services. Vision Series Financials, AMICAS’ new Windows-based practice management software is a next generation radiology management and billing software system. Vision Reach uses the latest Web-based technologies to integrate the radiology report with key images to create a single “multi-media” report.
