March 25, 2008 - Radon Medical Imaging Corp., Gaffney, SC, and Amerinet GPO, St. Louis, MO, entered into a three-year group purchasing agreement for Radon, a veteran reseller of Barco systems, to supply Barco display products to Amerinet members.
Amerinet has entered the deal providing a specific line of products to its informatics group offerings.
Barco’s products offer system-wide integration to the company’s Web-based display QA program MediCal QAWeb. Barco has expanded its offering of softcopy visualization solutions with a color display system, the NIO Color 3MP, a 3-megapixel system that supports 3D PACS applications with 30-bit color precision.
The LCD panel is protected from intensive use in clinical environments with an integrated protective front cover, and its nonreflective coating works to improve diagnostic experience, while keeping reflections very low.
