Amerinet, ASCA Sign Exclusive Agreement

July 6, 2007 - Amerinet Inc., a leading national healthcare purchasing organization, will serve as the sole-source purchasing agent for the members of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) (formerly Illinois Free Standing Surgery Center Association) based in Chicago.
“We chose Amerinet because of their proven record of success, and ability to deliver, not just the benefits of group purchasing, but unique cost-saving solutions,” said Mark Mayo, executive director of ASCA.

As part of the three-year partnership, Amerinet will negotiate custom contracts on behalf of ASCA while also making available competitively priced, industry-leading quality products and services. Focus on Total Spend Management Solutions will include cost reduction, contract evaluation and implementation, and education and program coordination at all of the association’s member facilities.

Amerinet serves more than 22,000 acute and non-acute health care providers nationwide.
