The certification validates that the company adheres to international standards recognized worldwide for establishing a quality management system (QMS) through documented procedures and performance objectives specific to the aftermarket industry. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards.
ISO 9001:2008/No Design addresses the requirements for implementing an efficient quality management system, ensuring that the organization fulfills and achieves continual improvement of its performance. By integrating ISO 13485:2003, it adds specific conditions for maintaining a QMS where an organization must demonstrate its ability to provide products and services that consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
