Advanced Visualization Aids Cerner’s EHR Workflow

Cerner and Vital Images bring care providers advanced visualization across the health care continuum.  The system provides workflow-driven multimodality 2-D, 3-D and 4-D viewing tools to enhance decision support in context with patient information via the electronic health records (EHR) for real time analysis and decision support.

Vitrea Core, a scalable, Web-based imaging solution offers any time, anywhere access to radiology images from the Cerner EHR.

By coupling the basic 2-D imaging tools with easy access to frequently used 3-D advanced visualization tools, clinicians are able to access capabilities formerly only available on specialized radiology workstations directly from the Cerner EHR.
