February 11, 2008 - The American College of Cardiology will hold its Annual Scientific Session from March 29-April 1 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, offering the latest innovations in cardiovascular science and education.

This year’s ACC.08 will be held in conjunction with SCAI Annual Scientific Session in Partnership with ACCi2 to deliver a platform for interventional medicine, including live cases and simulation sessions.

Highlighting the show include results of top clinical trials such as: ONTARGET, ACCOMPLISH, HYVET, ASTEROID, PERISCOPE, STRADIVARIUS and HAT.

The conference also offers a panel discussion of the EXHANCE trial and a safety debate over surgical backup. ACC.08 will also cover topics including depression and unexpected heart links, prevention goals and lifestyle benefits, practice-changing research, stents and door-to-balloon times, gender disparities, head-to-head drug trials and trends in heart care and survival.

The conference welcomes clinicians, including physicians, scientists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses.
