October 26, 2009 - Vital Images Inc., an advanced visualization and analysis software, and Sectra, an IT and medical-technology companies, announced that Sectra will offer Vital Images' Vitrea Enterprise Suite as an additional option integrated with Sectra’s PACS platform.
Co-operation across hospital and regional boundaries results in great efficiency gains. Sectra RIS/PACS is a performance solution for wide area radiology – enabling efficient workload sharing across multiple sites, even for very large image stacks over strained networks.

The Group’s order bookings rose 13.1 percent to SEK 1,149.7 million (1,016.6). Profit after financial items was SEK 71.4 million (79.8), corresponding to profit margin of 8.3 percent (10.7).
May 13, 2009 – ProMedica Health System, one of the largest integrated health systems in the U.S., spanning 27 counties throughout Ohio and Michigan, has selected Sectra as their radiology information system (RIS) provider.
Sectra will show its next generation RIS/PACS offering, a combination that enables users to meet business objectives with precision, in booth 413 at SIIM09, held June 13-17 in Charlotte, NC.
The solution combines advanced medical-visualization research with patent-pending image-handling technologies and the ability to deliver real-time radiology information.
The Sectra multimodality mammography workstation is equipped with dedicated software tools to meet the special workflow and throughput requirements of mammography. The system features fast image display, scalable storage capacity, and a dedicated keypad with programmed shortcut keys.
