November 20, 2008 -The recently FDA-cleared Aktina pinPoint system is a frameless noninvasive localization and fixation system for cranial stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT), as well as radiotherapy of the head and neck area that uses patented vacuum fixation technology to achieve sub-millimeter accuracy.
