February 28, 2022 — Core Sound Imaging, a leader in cloud-based clinical imaging workflow management, announced the 6.0 release of the company’s innovative cloud-based medical image storage and reporting solution, Studycast. With this latest release of Studycast, users can expect improved system performance, an upgraded infrastructure for security support and an enhanced user interface. The Studycast System was designed to streamline diagnostic imaging workflows and meet the growing demands of clinical imaging practitioners. The new release aligns the product with these objectives.

“The Studycast system already is one of the most dependable and user-friendly clinical imaging products available. With Studycast 6 we are making a great product even better by increasing system performance which translates into fast loading speeds for the user, upgrading infrastructure to maintain state-of-the art security, and giving the UI a refresh,” said Joe McCullagh, Studycast Product Manager. “The performance enhancement will be most noticeable to users, and I’m excited for users to try the updated dark-mode.”

Studycast 6 delivers performance improvements across the system.  Users will experience faster: Logins, page loads, Image uploads and access, and report generation.  Internal testing during verification produced loading speeds greater than 10 times the current rate.

“Core Sound Imaging has been consistently delivering on its promise to customers by providing a product that is intuitive, innovative and customer-centric. This latest update to Studycast 6 is just the beginning of the next phase of improving medical imaging workflow.” said Laurie Smith, Core Sound Imaging COO.
