December 8, 2021 — IMAGE Information Systems, headquartered in Rostock, Germany, and aycan Medical Systems, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., joined together at this year’s RSNA, successfully demonstrating their complementary portfolios of advanced imaging solutions that support any platform. The two global leaders in medical imaging now plan to further expand their current reseller relationship.

IMAGE and aycan have offered select solutions from each other’s portfolios for the past few years. Given the success of this and their professional relationship, effective immediately, they each plan to offer the other company’s entire portfolio, along with conducting joint product development.

"Further expanding our relationship with aycan creates a significant opportunity for growth in both North American and international markets for both companies," said Arpad Bischof, M.D., Director, IMAGE Information Systems Europe. Mike Jensen, Director of IMAGE Information Systems’ North American operations, added, "With our complementary product lines and combined product development resources, we look forward to delivering a new level of capability and value to our global customers."

Customers in all markets will have access to the combined, more robust product portfolio of medical imaging solutions the expanding relationship creates; both product lines will continue with no disruption in service.

"Expanding our relationship with IMAGE enables us to provide our customers with a broader set of solutions that improve quality and productivity while lowering costs," said Frank Burkhardt, aycan Director, North & Latin American Operations. “IMAGE’s Windows-based portfolio is a perfect complement to our Mac and Linux-based portfolio, which will enable both our companies to offer customers solutions for a complete workflow.”
