Guerbet Announces Key Research and Educational Grants and Partnerships

November 23, 2021 — Guerbet LLC, the U.S. affiliate of Guerbet, a global leader in medical imaging, is pleased to be exhibiting in Booth 1711 at the RSNA 2021 Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting and to share its continued partnership with the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) through the awarding of its Guerbet Research Scholar Grant. After a thorough review of hundreds of grant applications, the RSNA Research & Education (R&E) Foundation Board of Trustees awarded $3.2 million in funding to Hersh Sagreiya, M.D., with the University of Pennsylvania, to pursue research on Automated Hepatic Fat Quantification Using Machine Learning.

Continuing Education Resources: Guerbet offers continuing education courses that are free and easy to access for the entire radiology industry. These resources bolster the continued growth and understanding of education for physicians, technologists, administrators, and nurses, providing critical Continuing Education credits at no cost.
ABAIM Partnership Grants: Providing 100 academic educational scholarships to the non-profit American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM) to fund participation in their AI in Medicine Review Course.
ASPNR-Guerbet Research Grant: In January 2022, the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology and Guerbet will announce its research grant recipient—honoring researchers who advance the understanding, diagnosis, and/or treatment of central nervous system pathologies in children.

Along with these key opportunities, Guerbet also collaborates across the industry to promote awareness and celebrate those who care for patients.
