Health-tech startup Agamon is launching Agamon Coordinate for Lung Cancer Screening—a care coordination platform that makes it easier than ever for health care providers to reach out to eligible patients and bring them in for early detection scans.

Agamon Coordinate is the only radiology follow-up coordination tool available in the U.S. that is truly powered by deep learning natural language processing (NLP) models, which means the platform can detect and interpret information in free-text radiology reports with industry-leading accuracy.

November 21, 2021 — Health technology startup Agamon empowers health care providers with data-driven, automated radiology workflow solutions.

The company is best known for Agamon Coordinate—a care coordination platform that manages the radiology follow-up process and brings more patients back for follow-ups, automatically. Agamon Coordinate is the only radiology follow-up coordination tool available in the U.S. that is truly powered by deep learning natural language processing (NLP) models, which means the platform can detect and interpret information in free-text radiology reports with industry-leading accuracy.

Agamon is now officially a certified software partner of the American College of Radiology Lung Cancer Screening Registry (LCSR). Which means health care providers can now utilize the new Agamon Coordinate for Lung Cancer Screening solution to automate lung cancer program management end-to-end, including submitting data to the LCSR.

Agamon's holistic solution for Lung Cancer Screening management enables health care providers to:

  • Automate Lung Cancer Screening programs end-to-end, from findings detection, communication and follow-up tracking, reducing administration costs and FTEs

  • Identify eligible patients and notify them of your program, automatically

  • Detect information in reports such as incidental findings automatically, and alert the relevant stakeholders

  • Automatically submit data to the LCSR for Medicare reimbursement

Agamon CEO Michal Meiri said Agamon was founded “to lead the charge towards data-driven health care delivery, where patients are at the center of care and health care professionals are empowered with the technology and information, they need to direct patients on the fastest, most personalized journey to better health.”

“We developed Agamon Coordinate to close communication gaps and prevent late diagnosis, which occurs when information like incidental findings gets overlooked in radiology reports. The idea was to make the radiology follow-up process as accurate and automatic as possible, free of time-consuming, manual tasks.

“Agamon Coordinate is helping some of the largest and most innovative hospital systems in the U.S. manage their radiology follow-up process. And many of our customers have been requesting Agamon Coordinate for Lung Cancer Screening.

“So, we're incredibly excited to have become an LCSR certified software partner. It means providers can use our software to not only automate early detection program management, but also make certified submissions to the LCSR. Providing a true end-to-end solution that ultimately saves time and brings more patients in for potentially life-saving scans." said Meiri.
